In this Shabad, Dayabai Ji beautifully explains the greatness of Sadh Sangat, the company of true saints and spiritually awakened souls. She says that human birth itself is rare, but attaining the association of saints is even more precious because it removes the three kinds of worldly sufferings and fills the heart with peace and wisdom. Saints are described as fearless like lions, whose spiritual knowledge destroys ignorance, confusion, and attachment.

Spiritual Insight
The Shabad teaches that true saints are living forms of Divine Presence because they guide souls toward God and inspire constant remembrance of the Holy Name. Even a single moment spent in genuine Satsang is said to carry greater spiritual value than countless rituals, vows, or outward religious practices. Dayabai Ji explains that through saintly company, worldly desires and inner doubts gradually disappear, allowing the soul to taste the joy of divine love and inner peace. A real saint, she says, remains humble and remembers God at every moment.
