This shabad is a humble prayer of Huzur Soami Ji Maharaj in which the seeker folds both hands and asks the Supreme Master for mercy and protection. It praises the Satguru as the true father and mother of all beings and requests liberation from the net of Kal. The shabad reminds us that in previous ages the secret of the Shabd remained hidden, but in Kaliyug the Master revealed it openly for the upliftment of souls. It describes the inner journey through divine light, celestial sound, and higher spiritual realms, ending with a plea for peace and refuge at the Guru’s feet.

Jeev Kaaj Swaami Jag Mein Aaye, Bhau Saagar Se Paar Lagaaye. (06)
जीव काज स्वामी जग में आये। भौ सागर से पार लगाये॥6॥
Radha Soami has come to this world for the benefit of souls to carry them across the ocean of existence. [06]

तीन छोड़ चौथा पद दीन्हा। सत्तनाम सतगुरु गत चीन्हा॥7॥
Passing by the first three realms, he takes them to the fourth, where they realize that the status of the Master is that of the true Lord, Satnam. [07]

The refulgence of a resplendent flame brightens one's heart within; then a moon is seen in Daswan Dwar. [07]

Set Singhaasan Chhatr Biraaje, Anhad Shabd Gaib Dhun Gaaje. (09)
सेत सिंहासन छत्र बिराजे। अनहद शब्द गैब धुन गाजे॥9॥
Further on, a magnificent white throne is set up under an elegant canopy, and there the hidden melody of the boundless Shabd resounds. [09]

ਲੋਕ ਅਲੋਕ ਪਾਉਂ ਸੁਖ ਧਾਮਾ। ਚਰਣ ਸਰਣ ਦੀਜੇ ਬਿਸਰਾਮਾ॥11॥
Lok Alok Paaoon Sukh Dhaama, Charan Saran Deehe Bisraama. (11)
लोक अलोक पाऊं सुख धामा। चरन सरन दीजे बिसरामा॥11॥
Give me protection at your feet, O Lord, so that I may find peace in this world and in the world beyond. [11]
This shabad is the voice of a soul seeking refuge. It carries no pretension, only honesty and devotion. It reminds us that the purpose of life is not in the outer world but in discovering the divine light and sound within. When the seeker sincerely turns to the Master, the path across the ocean of existence opens naturally.
