In this Shabad, Dayabai Ji expresses the intense longing and divine madness experienced in true spiritual love. She explains that when the love of God awakens within the heart, a person becomes so absorbed in divine remembrance that worldly concerns and bodily awareness begin to fade away. The devotee laughs, cries, sings, and wanders in spiritual intoxication, overwhelmed by the sweetness of divine love and separation from the Beloved Lord.
